What to Expect
For the hunters wanting to hunt elk and fill the freezer and not wait for a bull tag, a cow elk hunt is a great option.
We spot and stalk groups of elk going from feeding to bedding areas.
During cow elk hunts in September, you will get to witness some great rutting action with bulls screaming and chasing.
October hunts may still hear a bugle or two but not like September.
This hunt can be challenging. Elk are very good at playing the wind and some long stalks may be necessary to get into range.
We prefer a suppressed rifle for the cow elk hunt. We will provide you with a suppressed rifle for this hunt if you do not own one.
