What to Expect - General Area East
September 1 Opener
This is a pre rut hunt that takes you to the irrigated fields of a private ranch in the Powder River country of Wyoming.
This spot and stalk hunt can drum up a lot of action in a hurry as we glass bulls ending their summer on the irrigated meadows before they disperse to look for cows.
Requires a suppressed rifle. If you don’t own one, we will provide one for you.

October 9 Opener
If you are looking for a big Wyoming bull elk, this is the hunt for you.
We rifle hunt elk on a large private ranch near Kaycee Wyoming at the south end of the Bighorn Mountains. This ranch has a large resident herd of elk and its growing every year.
We hunt these big bulls by spot and stalk and calling. With an October 9 opener, the bulls are still bugling and chasing cows.
We take our best bulls each year on this hunt and only take a limited number of bulls to ensure the quality of our herd and your hunt. We book out in advance so please call and get on our list.
